These terms govern your use of common-ground.solutions (the “website”), operated by Common Ground Solutions LLC (“Common Ground Solutions,” “we,” “us”). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Information only
The website describes our community association management and consulting services and the Grounded platform. Its content is general and educational. It is not legal, accounting, engineering, insurance or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for advice about your association’s circumstances. Please read our Professional Services Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
No client relationship
Using the website, submitting a consultation request, or calling or emailing us does not create a client relationship or any duty on our part. Services, and access to the Grounded platform, are provided only under a separate written agreement signed by both parties. If anything in these terms conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
Your submissions
If you submit information through the website, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are entitled to share it. Please do not submit confidential association records, owner personal information or financial account details through the website form. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle what you send.
Intellectual property
The website and its content, including text, graphics, the Common Ground Solutions and Grounded names and logos, and the design of the site, belong to Common Ground Solutions LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own non-commercial use, or for your association board’s internal consideration of our services. Any other copying, distribution or use requires our written permission. “Common Ground Solutions,” “CGS” and “Grounded” may not be used in a way that suggests our endorsement or affiliation without our written consent.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access to it or to any system behind it, interfering with its operation, submitting false or harmful content, scraping it in bulk, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
Third-party links and services
The website links to services operated by others, such as Google Calendar for booking calls and LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them is governed by their terms.
No warranties
The website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Common Ground Solutions LLC and its members, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the website will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Fairfax County, Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Your continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
